Rangeland Smoky Sweet BBQ Sauce

Bison BBQ month is right around the corner! What is a staple in any good BBQ dish? BQQ sauce! Test out Rangeland's bbq sauce recipe and don't be afraid to make it your own.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 Brown Sugar
  • cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. chopped Parsley
  • 3 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp. Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp. Paprika
  • 1tsp. Chili powder
  • 1tsp. Cayenne or (ground black pepper)
  • Pinch Kosher salt
  • 1/8tsp of liquid smoke (be careful not to add to much)
  • 2tbsp. Molasses 

Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil in pan over medium heat then add minced garlic.  
  2. Sautee for 2 minutes
  3. Add remaining ingredients, stir and cook for 3 minutes 
  4. Reduce to low and simmer for 15 minutes until thickened
  5. Serve cooled and store in an air tight container
